Made with the finest full grain American-sourced equestrian harness leather. The leather is hot dipped in waxes and oils at the tannery for water resistance, and to reveal color tones and "pull-up" only a premium leather can offer. It has an initial buffed finish that quickly develops into a rich patina.

I wanted to design a deconstructed minimalist tote that contained only essential design and construction elements, but nothing more. An anthesis to features for the sake of features.

Using full panels of harness leather showcases the beautiful grain only found on a premium leather. The exposed stitching for the internal pocket has a pleasing radius that complements the bag’s silhouette. I used hand hammered copper rivets because each rivet is subtlety unique, and the copper develops a caramel patina that is in harmony with the leather.

I periodically see our No.180 Tote in the wild with years of use, and it always looks better than when it was newly made.  To date, I have personally sewn every one of these totes. I have too much fun making them to delegate to a team member!
