Every city has someone dabbling in leatherwork, selling their handmade wallets. Sadly, most are excessively thick juggernauts, before a single bill or card is put inside them. 

Leather is an incredible material but it is not all created equal. This is why our wallet utilizes two types of full grain leather to achieve an ideal weight, strength, and thickness.

The outer panel is made with a durable shoe leather from Horween tannery in Chicago that has all the character one looks for in a premium full grain leather. It's perfectly fat stuffed for a supple hand with a rich pull up showing gorgeous color gradients.

The internal wallet pieces require a much thinner leather, which is why we use full grain equestrian bridle leather that we split down without loosing structural integrity.

Both leathers are dye matched and patina evenly with use, resulting in a sleeker, superior wallet.

*Vegetable Tanned = A traditional and lasting  process that uses plant based tannins rather than environmentally harmful chemicals.  

Care:

Wipe down with a damp rag and air dry away from direct sunlight. Our leather is conditioned at the tannery for years of use and does not need additional oiling or conditioning.
