The No.112 Market Tote has always been about simple utility, making it a natural place to put exceptional leftover materials back to work.

For this Micro Batch, we paired upcycled duck canvas with a vintage striped awning originally made to withstand exposure to the elements. We used the awning where its properties make the most sense: across the bottom of the bag, adding a water-resistant, hard-wearing layer to an area that regularly meets floors, sidewalks, and wet surfaces.

The handles are cut from surplus military nylon webbing—another material designed for utility and durability rather than decoration.

Together, the different materials give Thicket Stripe a character we couldn't reproduce with newly manufactured cloth. We made only nine, determined simply by the amount of material available.
