New ARTIFACT Logo... Why?
In celebration of ARTIFACT's 10-year anniversary, we created a new logo. The globe signifies the journey we've taken as a company over the last ten years, with retailers in the United States, as well as places like: Australia, UK, The Netherlands, Canada, France, New Zealand, South Korea, and Japan.
The new logo also celebrates fluidity and interconnectedness enabled by the Internet - as we all collectively share innovation, art, music, and design.
"Faster alone, further together" African proverb
I reached out to my old friend Seth Johnson to help with our new logo concept. Seth meticulously sketched then brush inked everything before it was pulled into digital. We created several new products with Seth's artwork including:
1. Atlas Supporting The Weight of The World Tee Shirt: I've always enjoyed vintage advertising with Atlas. Metaphorically, 2020 has produced countless "weight of the world" moments for all of us! Drawn and brush inked by Seth, in the style of old world meets early 20th century modern.
2. Twill 6-Panel Cap w/ Embroidered Globe: A wardrobe stable offered in slate, garnet, or khaki.
3. Leather Passport Wallet: Made w/ premium top grain harness leather from Wickett & Craig tannery in PA.
We have additional products in the works and will be sharing them very soon. Thanks for reading!
