Care
Leather (Bags, Accessories, & Aprons)
The leathers we use are conditioned at the tannery to retain their oils and remain supple for years. Oiling or further conditioning is not necessary with normal use. Avoid soaking leather. If soaked, air dry away from any heat source. Clean leather with a damp rag and air dry away from direct sunlight. Some stains may not come out but they give a product character.
Waxed Canvas / Cotton / Twill (Bags & Shop Aprons)
Spot clean with a clean, damp rag and mild soap (no detergent). Air dry away from direct sunlight.
Do not store waxed goods in a dark, damp place, as they can attract mold or mildew. If you encounter mold and/or mildew, mix ¼ cup of borax w/ 1 quart of warm water and apply with a sponge to affected area(s). Then mix 1/.5 ratio of white vinegar to cold water and apply with a sponge. Set in direct sunlight for several hours.
To replenish wax to canvas or twill use Original Martexin Wax and follow instructions on product page.
