About Us
Who We Are
ARTIFACT is a small-batch production studio based in Omaha, Nebraska.
We design and build utility-driven goods for a life of craft and leisure: bags, aprons, organizers, tools, and everyday objects intended to be used often, repaired when needed, and kept for years.
Since 2010, our work has been guided by a simple standard: make useful things well.
What We Make
The majority of our products are cut, sewn, and finished in-house by our team in Omaha, alongside select goods produced with trusted manufacturing partners.
We prioritize durable materials, practical design, and construction meant for long-term use. Some products are built from new materials. Others incorporate vintage and up-cycled textiles that deserve another life.
Our products are designed for people who cook, garden, sew, knit, travel, work with their hands, and carry what matters.
What We Believe
We are not interested in disposable goods or trend-driven products.
We believe good design should solve real problems, age with dignity, and become part of daily life through years of use. Useful objects develop character over time and earn their place through function, reliability, and familiarity.
That philosophy informs everything we make.
Why We Love the Work
Designing products is creative problem solving made tangible.
When done well, the outcome transcends time and feels as though it has always existed — intuitive, purposeful, and quietly useful.
One Standard
Whether made in our Omaha studio or with trusted production partners, every ARTIFACT product is held to the same standard: utility, durability, repairability, and long-term use.
Products with purpose. Made to be used.
