Monogramming 101
Do you know the difference between a straight and a traditional monogram? Read Below!
We use a combination of traditional and a straight monograms on our products. This may sound tricky but read below for clarification.
Small Leather Goods w/ Monogram Option Offered
Do to size and consistency, we use a "straight" monogram style of up to 3 uniform height letters. So let's say "Mike Jeffrey Smith" wants a monogram:
- 1 Letter = Last Name (example: Smith)
- 2 Letter = First Name / Surname (example: Mike Smith)
- 3 Letter = First Name / Middle Name / Last Name (example: Mike Jeffrey Smith)
Aprons That Offer Debossed Leather Patch
We use a "traditional" monogram style with a raised middle letter to denote surname (AKA last name). So let's say "Mike Jeffrey Smith" wants a monogram:
- 1 Letter = Last Name (example: Smith)
- 2 Letter = First Name / Surname (example: Mike Smith)
- 3 Letter = First Name / Last Name (Raised AKA Taller) / Middle Name (example: Mike Smith Jeffrey)
If you prefer a straight monogram (First Name / Middle Name / Last Name) with all consistent height letters on the debossed leather patch of your apron, note this in the comment section for your order at checkout and we will accommodate.
