Custom Amp Covers
In the 1950's and 60's Fender kitted their amplifiers with optional canvas and faux leather slip covers made by Victoria Luggage Co. in St Louis, Mo (RIP). They are a source of inspiration for our ARTIFACT covers but I had no interest in creating replicas of them. To put it bluntly, their quality is below our standard at ARTIFACT.
I've handled countless Victoria Luggage Co. amp covers over the years and sadly, they were plagued with: uneven thread tension, skipped stitches, wild stitch lines, lower tier canvas with slub and runs, and panels from mismatched dye lots. The faux leather and vinyl piping they used becomes brittle and cracked with time. Their cotton chamois lining succumbs to pilling.
ARTIFACT guitar amplifier covers retain the vibe of a classic amp cover but with better materials and more features:
- ARTIFACT amp covers have a waxed canvas shell with denier packcloth lining for more protection and durability
- We only use full grain harness leather
- We've added roomy side pockets for cables, etc
- We even added a stash pocket for guitar picks, etc that tucks under the amp handle
- Our amp covers (and all other products) are handmade in our Omaha, NE studio

Guitar Straps
It's been my experience when shopping for a guitar strap that too many are made from cheap materials (bonded leather / plated pot metal hardware / lightweight thread), or excessive (too thick / too heavy / too much ornamentation). I designed some guitar straps that scratch my aesthetic itch. I hope you like them too.
Our woven cotton straps are 2" wide, with a generous range of adjustment (40"-70"). We only use solid brass hardware. The strap ends are stitched with industrial weight thread, then riveted. Lastly, we only use full grain leather.
Our harness leather straps are inspired by simple, classic designs that do not make you look like a Las Vegas act, or a viking.

Guitar Accessories
One of my most frequently used guitar items is my guitar pick squeeze pouch. I keep one near my amp, as well as in my guitar case. Its spring steel closure makes an appealing sound when it snaps closed! We also offer a drawstring ditty bag in waxed cotton for your guitar odds and ends.
